South Sudan Red Cross

The South Sudan Red Cross was born on 9 July 2011, with the independence of South Sudan. Formerly a part of the Sudanese Red Crescent, its staff and volunteers have decades of experience responding to emergencies, providing health services and promoting social inclusion. “We are a volunteer led humanitarian organisation, part of the world’s largest humanitarian network with 100 million members, volunteers and supporters in 186 countries.
